Let me introduce myself...

Hello, my name is ***** and I am a 28 year old virgin. Yep, 28. And in case you are wondering, its always been my choice- there have been plenty of chances to give up the old "V" card, but I never did. As you can see, I am not using my name because I think I will be more honest and authentic with anonymity. I made the choice long ago that I wanted to wait until I am married to have sex, and have stuck to that decision my whole life. I never imagined I would be staring 30 in the face without any hope of marriage in sight. I think a lot about the choice I made, the choices others make, and was reading Twilight Eclipse recently when it all came together. Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson's character in the book) insists on waiting until marriage to have sex. Who would have thought-- a vampire with that kind of moral conviction!

That night the idea for this blog was born, so I hope if anyone reads this that they take away some insight into the kind of resolution I have and why I am the way I am. After I had this epiphany, I went googling to find someone, anyone, who was a virgin like me, but found almost nothing. So I decided to blog about it, and here we go.....
